The South Asian card game of nerve and timing, rebuilt for the phone in your pocket. Follow suit, dodge the thulla and race to empty your hand — the last player still holding cards becomes the Bhabhi.

How a game plays

  1. i.

    Follow suit

    The game opens with the Ace of Spades. Play a card of the suit that was led whenever you can.

  2. ii.

    Throw a thulla

    Can’t follow? Throw any other card. The trick stops — and whoever played highest in the led suit picks up the pile.

  3. iii.

    Get away

    Empty your hand to escape the table. The last player left holding cards becomes the Bhabhi.

SHFQ Studio is the product studio of SHFQ Technologies Pvt Ltd. We design, build and publish our own games and apps for Android — and we stay close to the people who use them, because their feedback decides what we build next.

We start with what people already know — a card game passed between friends and generations, the ledger a showroom owner keeps by hand — and rebuild it for the phone in their pocket, without losing what made it work.
